If a bathroom is not out on the floor then most retail stores don't allow customers to use it for safety and security reasons. If the bathroom is in the back of the store, than most likely there is also heavy equipment and fixtures. If customers were left unattended they could get hurt. As for security leaving a customer back there could open up an opportunity for stealing. As for the workers gossiping I'm sure no company wants workers like that so you have every right to be upset. I have been an employee and a consumer in retail so I can see both sides. I do know from shopping at Rue 21 they have some of the best deals if all. I'd probably talk to a manager about your experience. |

I walked in there to look around and I found a few things to try on. I could not get anyone to open a fitting room for me. The manager ran to the back as soon as I got there and then the cashier spent all day talking to the customer that was checking out. When he got away from the cash wrap, he gave me one look and just went on with his business and didn't even ask me for help. I put my stuff away and then left. I will never shop at this store again. They are the rudest people I have ever met in my life. |
